Welcome to Schumann Library: A Guide for New Employees

Subject Guides

Subject Guides are research guides our librarians have prepared to introduce students to the most useful resources in their area of study. These guides are for all levels of researchers in any phase of their research.

Course Guides

Course guides list library and other information resources specifically chosen by a librarian, in cooperation with the instructor, to support learning outcomes and research in a given course.

Here is an example:  HIST 4175 - Modern American History

Would you like a subject specialist librarian to make a research guide for a course you are teaching? Please send an e-mail along with your syllabus to library@wit.edu

Alternatively, if you are requesting instruction for the same course, you can simply mention you'd like a course guide in the comments of the Instruction Request Form.
