Borrow & Request

Wentworth community members may gain free and/or discounted admission to some museums with their Wentworth ID cards. The Library does not have physical museum passes available for borrowing.

Museum of Fine Arts (MFA)

WIT community members may enter the MFA free of charge. Please visit the MFA website for more information: https://www.mfa.org/visit. 

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum (ISGM)

WIT community members may get one free ticket at the ISGM. To reserve a ticket in advance, you will need the Wentworth specific promo code. Call the Library Services Desk during operating hours at 617-989-4040 for the code. Outside of operating hours, email library@wit.edu and we will get back to you during the next business day. You will then be able to use the promo code on the ISGM purchasing portal.

MassArt Art Museum (MAAM)

MAAM is free entry for all. For more information: https://maam.massart.edu/visit.

Passes to other area museums can be obtained via the Boston Public Library (BPL). With a BPL card, you may reserve passes to museums and institutions such as the Museum of Science, New England Aquarium, and extra passes to the MFA and the ISGM. Some museum passes may also be available through the Wentworth Flanagan Campus Center InfoHub. For more information: https://wit.edu/ticket-sales.

Design Museum Everywhere

Students, faculty, and staff can register for free passes to virtual events using their WIT email address and by including the word “Wentworth” in the membership code field. The museum also offers a weekly design-themed podcast, articles, educational activities, and online exhibitions.
