Borrow & Request

Museum Passes

Wentworth has institutional memberships to several museums in the area. Wentworth students, faculty, and staff are able to gain admission to these museums either by furnishing their Wentworth ID cards or by borrowing admissions passes from the Library. Passes are available at the Circulation Desk. Please see the information below for specific borrowing information for each museum.

Design Museum Everywhere

Students, faculty, and staff can register for free passes to virtual events using their WIT email address and by including the word “Wentworth” in the membership code field. The museum also offers a weekly design-themed podcast, articles, educational activities, and online exhibitions.

Harvard Art Museums

The Library has seven membership passes; each pass admits two adults. Wentworth students, faculty, and staff may borrow up to two passes for three days at a time.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum (ISGM)

Please ask library circulation staff for assistance. Passes must be requested online in advance. Remember to bring your WIT ID.

The ISGM guest pass program is temporarily suspended until the university reopens. If you have any questions, please contact circ@wit.edu.

Museum of Fine Arts (MFA)

WIT community members may enter the MFA free of charge with their WIT ID. The Library does not have additional guest passes. Please visit the MFA website for more information: https://www.mfa.org/visit
