Questions about ILL?

Current Wentworth students, faculty, and staff may use our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service. If you can’t find an item in the library catalog, request it by filling out our ILL Request Form:

ILL FAQs

Books, journal articles, book chapters, conference proceedings, dissertations and theses, and audiovisual materials not available through the Schumann Library or Fenway Libraries Online (FLO).

  • Usually 1-5 business days for articles and book chapters.
  • Usually 3-10 business days for books and other physical items.
  • It may take longer to obtain some items.
  • We cannot guarantee that every request will be able to be filled.

  • Articles and book chapters are sent via email and do not need to be returned.
  • Loan periods for physical items are set by supplying libraries and usually last 2-6 weeks.
  • If your item indicates that renewal requests are allowed, email ill@wit.edu before the due date.
  • An item recalled by its supplying library must be returned to us immediately.
