Library 101

A citation will give you information to identify and find a resource.  It will also help you idenfity the type of source you are using.  Your assignments might require you to use a variety of sources.  Citations are the key to finding the resources you need.  

Citations will include author, title, source, date, url, and more.  The more information you have the easier it will be to locate, evaluate and use the resource.
