Severe Weather Closings

• When Wentworth is open despite inclement weather, the Library will be open.
• When Wentworth has a delayed opening due to inclement weather, the Library will open at the same time as the Institute.
• When Wentworth is closed due to inclement weather, the Library will make every effort to be open for some period during the day, based on the timing of the storm and the safety of our workers.  Please check Twitter (@WITLibrary) and our Library home page for specifics during each weather event.

Information on severe weather closings at WIT will be published through: Wentworth's homepage; television stations 4, 5, and 7; AM radio stations WRKO (680) and WBZ (1030); social media; and text messages through WIT's Rave Alert System.

The Schumann Library is located on the second and mezzanine floors of Beatty Hall at the center of the Wentworth Institute of Technology campus.
