Reference & Research Services

Schedule a Research Consultation

If you're facing the challenge of the blank page, stuck in research limbo, confused about citations, or just need a helpful guide to gathering resources for your assignments, your Wentworth librarians are more than happy to help you.

Please fill out our simple Research Consultation form letting us know what you need, and we will get back to you as soon as we can!

Virtual consultation via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Phone: Librarians are happy to assist you via Zoom or Microsoft Teams for immediate assistance. Reference Librarians are also available to speak with you over the phone, or using Zoom/Teams audio-only, during Library hours.

In-Person

If you are coming to the Library and would like to speak to a Reference Librarian, you can come to the reference or Library Services Desk and ask to speak to a Reference Librarian.

We have drop-in research help from 10AM-12PM & 1-3PM, Monday - Friday. Need help outside of those hours? We're around, just ask for us at the Library Services Desk!

You can also schedule a research consultation if you have a set time you would like to work with a Librarian. 

Chat

Schumann Library will provide a live chat service for Wentworth users. Hours:

  • Monday-Thursday: 11AM-5PM
  • Friday-Sunday: 1PM-3PM

Librarians are available to answer your questions in real-time about Library materials, resources, services, etc. You can access Library Chat by clicking the yellow "Questions? Ask Us" tab on the right side of the Library website

You can also email library@wit.edu at any time. Reference Librarians will respond to your inquiry within 24 hours of receipt.*

For faculty and students who want to speak directly to their subject liaison, you can contact them directly.
