How to Use this Guide

This research guide is two-fold:

  • Part 1, Employee Recruitment and Retention, includes library, web and government resources about diversity and inclusion with a slant towards higher education and better practices for hiring and retaining a diverse workforce. Our intention is to make it easier for faculty and staff to find quality library materials about this topic for professional development, either individually or in groups. All of the materials in this section are in digital format, making them easily accessible during a time when many of us are working remotely. Race in the Workplace, created by Wentworth Coops and Careers as part of the Race + Identity, is included as a sidebar in this section as well.
  • Part 2, Wentworth Black Lives Matter, is a guide created by librarians with more resources about the BLM movement. This BLM guide includes a glossary of terms, library resources, other resources, Juneteenth -- as well recommendations from The Center for Diversity and Social Justice.
